Data Engineer

Spanispace is looking for a Data Engineer to build and run the data pipelines behind our jobs, training and services marketplace. You will own how listings, applications and platform activity flow from source systems into reliable, well-modelled tables, so the team can measure what helps South African job seekers most. What you will do: - Build and maintain ingestion pipelines for job listings and platform events - Model clean, documented tables for reporting and matching - Monitor data quality and fix issues at the source - Work with the product team on analytics and job-matching features

- 2+ years in data engineering or a related role - Strong SQL and Python - Experience with PostgreSQL; Supabase is a plus - Familiar with scheduled pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, cron, Airflow) - Clear communicator who writes things down
